Thank you for 25 years of Luv!

Small businesses are the lifeblood of communities. We are blessed to call San Jose which is the heart of Silicon Valley our home for 25 years. In celebration of this milestone, we launched a Dessert Truck offering fresh-baked brownies, Cuban drinks, and ice cream.

I’m proud to celebrate my Cuban heritage with the expansion of our menu and Celia Cruz's song, La Vida Es Un Carnaval. The jingle is used on the truck and mobile app push notifications with permission from songwriter Victor Daniel and Sony music.

From our truck, we offer house-made waffle bowls, cones, caramel, heart-shaped marshmallows, and of course our award-winning brownies. It’s been an honor to serve Santa Clara County.

As 2021 draws to a close, I wanted to share some highlights from our Dessert Truck. We had the opportunity to:

sell fresh hot brownies, Cuban drinks and ice cream at 95+ farmers’ markets
cater 30+ parties, homecoming dances, and private events
execute 35 pop-ups (parks, churches, apartments …
process 400+ scholarship applications
increase our Luv Club membership subscriber base by 50%
add 15+ new products to the menu
award three $500 scholarships
be featured in 10+ news articles including Good Morning America, San Jose State University Alumni, Food Truck News, DiverseAbility, Cuisine Noir and more …

Fun facts:

❤️ Our #1 requested item was the brownie sundae on a housemade waffle cone or bowl with Luv Bites® (bite-size heart shaped brownies). We sold 1,475+ servings.

❤️ The brownie ice cream sandwich was offered with strawberry, premium vanilla, mint chip and chocolate ice cream. We sold 1,295+ servings.

❤️ In 1996, our flagship heart-shaped brownie was the four inch. Today we call the original. On the Dessert Truck, we serve this brownie warm and decorated with seasonal sprinkles. We sold 1,170+ servings.

We appreciate each and every order. A portion of all of our sales goes to our scholarship fund. Applications are open now for class 2022.
